I know this has probally been covered a hundred times.. But i have read it both ways wich cylinder is suppose to be lower the pto or the mag side?? My mag side is 125 the middle is 125 and the pto is 110 does that sound ok?? Thanks

Using a Snap On tester model number EAC0038KOOA, I just found my cylinders at PTO 105 psi, mid 120 psi, right 120 psi. Am I screwed????

i checked mine again as well and i came up with the same 105 pto and 120 center and 120 mag so i think we need a rebuild, anyone??? dont want to mess it up even more

I did a lot of searching and reading last night and have come to the conclusion that if over 100psi on the PTO and others are respectfully higher (+15psi or so) then we are good to go. I think it has a lot to do with the gage reading. I heated my sled up last night real well, made sure the throttle was WOT, and retested the compression. I got 110, 125, 125 when I did that with a different gage. In my searching I found quite a few sleds with these compressions. I am not going to invest in a rebuild yet. My sled has 1500 pretty easy miles on it and has always ran rich. You could take off you Y pipe and visually inspect the pistons without pulling the heads. I am going through clutching, proper track tension, chain tension, and inspecting other things to make sure it runs at optimal level.

Do I think you need a rebuild? My answer would be no.
