srx gearing ?

Just bought a new 2002 srx having a rip saw track and max pref. rods installed. should I change the gearing while its apart ? going to clutch it later this winter

I would drop the top gear down a tooth to get a little more low end grunt, ...you can keep your stock chain and not lose much top end if any, as well.

SRX EH is right about that. One tooth in the top (from 23 to 22) would be perfect. I did samething to my 2000 SRX and now to my 2001 SRX. I never noticed a loss at all on the top speed. I still ran 116mph on radar with it. What a differece in accelleration you will get with that new track. Brad
