need a little advice on some set up, riding hard the inside ski keeps lifting when going into corners hard. Is this the result of too much ski pressure or not enough. If i go to some 6 inch carbides will this help? Should i check the preload on the shock in the skid limiter stap has about an inch of thread showing any advice to start with is great

yes, too much ski shock pressure could be part of the equation. also, check for free range of motion on the stabilizer and all connecting joints. if theres any binding, this will cause some tippyness(is that a word?). next, check your camber adjustment on the spindles, and then play with the limiter straps. dont have the info in front of me as to adjustment/exposed thread length mininmum/maximums, but if you shorten the straps, that will heavy the front end. not a carbide lenghth expert, as i dont ride lakes and trails, but this will factor into play. a quality carbide supplier should be able to coach you. just a hint: make one adjustment at a time, a little at a time, and baseline your starting points.

I would start ny losing the Limiter about 1/8 of an inch. I have mine set at 1 1/8 and run 6" doolys on the front. just my two cents, enjoy.

ski lift is caused by getting lots of bite in a corner. If you have long/good carbides they grip so hard in the corner the machine tends to roll (lift ski). You can either reduce the amount of traction on the front end my letting your limiter straps out and increasing transfer, or you can increase the resistance to roll by increasing front ski preload.

I've done both and would recommend you tighten you front shock pre-load.

If you go too tight on the front spring pre-load... you will cause ski lift also... reason is that you cannot compress outer spring an force will tip sled..no sway bar action.... So by loosening front shock spring pre-load.. outer spring is able to compress..sway bar will help transfer weight to inner ski... and sled will stay flatter in turn.... But the funnes way around a turn seems to be inner ski about 6" in the air...this makes sure that you have maximum bite on outer carbide.

i rode my buddies and it seemed like it was on rails is it possible thats its pushing a little in the corners then bitting and lifting a ski?
