Anyone hear anything on polaris' new sled? From what i've seen its lacking a tunnel and has a pretty radical looking rear suspension. Im guessing it has a full chassis like the Blade sleds.

i heard one guy say that he heard it was a 130hp 600, but thats what he heard, who knows, could be 1000, polaris hasnt made any extreme hp sleds in the last couple years, there 800's were dynoed in snowsports/snowgoer at 144.9 hp at the highest, basically on par with an RX-1, almost 10 less HP than what poo claims at 154 hp. This could be a whole new engine under the hood, I guess we'll find out in a couple hours!

Wonder what the MSRP will end up being. It looks like a pretty innovative design. It's nice to see Polaris pushing the boundaries on the sledding industry.

I am liking that rear suspension. Yamaha will have to pull a majic rabbit out of it's hat. I am glad I have not purchased a new sled yet. 2010 looks very promising for innovation.

I'm surprised they didn't throw an 800 in it.

that Polaris will probably be very light also,so it should move good.

Dry weight of 459lbs. mmmmm. It's different, would have been neat to see it as a 136" or with a four-stroke. It reminds me of when the new phazer came out, Yamaha wanted to bring in a new kind of snowmobiler. I think this is what Polaris is trying to do. With the layoffs at Polaris and Arctic Cat headquarters, I hope the MSRP is low...

you know what that sled is starting to look like to me..in a way.Yamaha's Sno Scoot.Maybe Yamaha's blast from the past will come back.Have a chance to pu one of them Scoots,an 88 model..but dealer wants $2599 for it..are they crazy or what..why so much.It would be a fun little thing just to jump on and go visit someone close,or pu the mail or take out the garbage with...lol.
