I just finally recieved my set of Chromolly Radius Rods from Northern Lites and it appears he tapped the lower rod ends that go to the bulk head a 14mm x 1.25. The stock yamaha threads on the lower hiem joint do not fit into them. Does anyone know what would work for that thread size, or where the best place to buy a set of hiem joints from? THanks

I don't know what thread size you need but I bought replacement heims for my BLT long travel kit from mcmaster.com they have all different styles and sizes for a good price.
There is an online supply store that handles all sizes for very good prices. Just do some searching. Glad to hear that you got your stuff!!!
That engineering search site (can't think of the name right now) is where I first found them, but since then I have seen the site posted on Snowest a number of times.

Midwest Control maybe . . .
Are you sure that it is M14 x 1.25 and not M14 x 1.50 or M12 x 1.25 ???

Ding, Yea, i double checked the threads at work with our thread gages. The Radius rod end is 14 x 1.25 and the stock yamaha hiem thread is 14 x 1.50. I think Dennis F'd them up and tapped them to the wrong size. Im getting really tired of all this bull shit from Northern Lites. First I wait 4 months for the parts and now he taps them wrong so my yamaha hiem joints don't fit! I tryed calling him every day and he never answers, what customer serivce! I should be making him send me a set of hiem joints to fit them, but I can't get a hold of him. I just what to get my sled back together. If you find anything let me know. Thanks.

Ding I checked midwest control, they don't even make a m14 x 1.25 , Only m-14 x 1.5 which is the same as the yamaha ones i have. This is why I think Dennis screwed up, I dont know why he would tap it to m14 x 1.25? I thought about trying to re-tap it with a 1.5 but since there so close im worried it will tare the remaining threads out, then the rods are junk! Im so frustrated right now!
Midwest or another place I have used will make special order parts but it might cost you. I will see if I can remember the other place I used. It was for snow plow parts, but I know they make the heim joints too.
what about healy coil?
