OK,
Iam trying to figure out the firing in these Arcticcat Prowler 440, i cant get the fire going,
iam thinking of stators are burnt, iam here to ask how do i test the stators, what setting should i use on the multimeter guys? um and do i put the multimeter wires on the stator wires? or after the cdi thanks guys! i know its not yamaha but i would appreciate the help

yes you test through the wire leads on the stater. you'll need specs..

ive seen kill and ign switch cause alot more trouble then stators

ok but do i need to crank the motor? see if the mutlimetter give me some ohms

Where can get the stator specs for a 01 sxr 700? this would be different than other years as factory installed a new 18 post stator in 01. what should the olms be?

No you don't crank the motor.
2001 sxr 700 specs...
pick up coil: (white/red-wite/green) 189-231 Ohm at 68 deg.
stator coil: (white-white) .36-.44 ohm at 68 deg.
