heat exchanger protectors

im just putting my studded track on and noticed that i seem to only have one protector on my front exchanger..is there supposed to be two? i wonder if i can just run with one? and if not where can i get another one? im running a 1inch track with 1.080 studs.
Any help would be great.

i WOULD GET ANOTHER ONE ON THERE. ALSO REAR PROTECTORS IF THEY ARE NOT THERE ALREADY. MY 1.080 STUDS HIT MY REAR EXCHANGER A WHILE AGO WHEN I BOTTOMED OUT.

Yes, you definitely want protectors for front and rear HX's.

There are 2 per front and 2 for the rear. My guess is that the other one in front broke off.

yes now that i look i can see where it came off,where can i buy another one i wonder? i do have tunnel protectors in already

Dennis Kirk, or JR graham, many places sell them.....

Now just don't try to find a set for a venture. They are not the same as what the srx or the sx use. I tried 2 different brands for SX's after I was told numerous times that they are the smae. Well, they are not. And Yamaha does not even stock any anymore. I was SOL, so I found a guy that had an original pair from Yamaha, and he replicates them. That was fun.
