primary clutch's

do anyone know the difference between a long cover primary clutch and a short cover primary clutch? i know the springs are different lengths but im not sure if the weights can be changed from a long cover to short cover clutch. what else is different?

The cover is different thus allowing you to run the longer spring. Other than that they are the same clutch. The covers swap back and forth so if you have a short cover and want the long one all you need to do is switch the cover. Same thing going the other way from long to short.
