The sled had no spark.

Inspected entire wiring harness, all is good.

Replaced the stator with a used one. Found out my multimeter was bad, not the stator.

Replaced 3 coils because my wires were not giving proper resitance. Still no spark.

Was ready to give up, I have been working on this bits and pieces outide in the -20c. I noticed it sparked first pull then didnt spark. I started tugging on wires until I could replicate the spark, turns out it sparked everytime after moving the CDI

Decided to take off the CDI box and see if the wrecker had one. Couldnt get the plug that feed the coils off. Pried it off, the entire connection inside was corroded/burnt and not connecting.

I removed the plug and made makeshift connections out of some squished butt connectors. The sled runs great, except the track is seized (hopefully just frozen) but the makeshift connectors dont fit great and are smoking. I dont want to run the sled and ruin the CDI.

As far as I know I can't get just the plug from yamaha, I would have to order the entire harness. Does anyone know if they make crimp on plugs that would fit those little tabs properly? What are they called and where can I get them. I don't think radioshack had them that small, maybe home depot?

I might see if the wrecker will sell me just the plug, but I doubt he would chop it off a good harness.

Any ideas? I can post pics tommorow if it helps.
