I like the looks of the front half-- looks pretty mean, but the back half looks like a sno-scoot-- especially in the picture with that big guy riding it
Yeah those 600's are good motors, but they should offer it in a 700 and 800 too.

For 2010 that motor in the rush is rated at 130HP. Not too shabby in my book.

Exactly, even if its an "exchanger" its still in a bad spot. I have many deep gouges in my skidplate in that same exact spot from hitting rocks and stumps under the snow, even caught a left behind road sign anchor which cut a hole in my track that left a mark all the way down the skid plate.

maybe it will differ when they offer it as a mtn sled. as a trail sled, mine has gone 8500 miles without incident. and my last one went 9000+ miles without incident... seems like an ok place for someone like me

They are, and have been since 2000.
They started at 116hp in 00, and are now up to 130 hp with CFI.
In other words that lil 600 has over 216 hp per liter. An SRX 700 was exactly at 200 hp per liter.
These motors are pretty darn good, and 100% reliable.
I have 4k on my 00 600 VES which is the basis for the new cfi 600, and have only had to clean the valves out a few times, change a belt or 2, change hyfax and carbides and rebuild shocks. Our venture 600 has had a fair amount of issues, including a full rebuild. So saying that yamaha makes a more reliable engine or sled has no weight with me.
Overall Yamaha and Polaris make great sleds, I just don't like any bagging on them when it's not founded in reality.

Well said Horkn.
The 600 liberty motor is a strong dependable motor for Polaris. Probably one of their more popular motors in the sled lineup.

yeah, about the same or more power as my viper, and that seems like more than enough on the trails
