2002 vmax 600 er clutching

Hi

I have a 2002 vmax 600 er, Its completely stock,

Im tired of my freind that has a 2000 SX-R600 jumping 3 lenghts in front of me,

i have look throught the teck section but can find much info on the vmax 600er

So im loking for some advise on what would be the best clutch set-up for me,
I mostly ride in trails,

And what are the affects of the rolle size, i have 15 mm in mine compared to 14.5 mm in the sx-r ?!?!?!?

The biggest advantage he has is GEARING, All the reverse Proaction model sleds come with a pretty tall small gear (I think 22 or 23 teeth) and the SX-R has a 20 tooth stock which give him a power advantage right there along with being 25# lighter with no reverse or E-start. I'm not sure if there are lower gears avalible for the reverse sleds or not yet, there Wasn't when I clutched my wifes 99' Deluxe (which as the same 600 triple as you). When both my SX-R and Deluxe were clutched the same I could still walk away from the deluxe with the SX-R and I have a 1 1/4 ripsaw on the SX-R.

from what i can see in the yamaha manuel ,
the vmax600er has 21/39 gearing and the sx-r has 20/39

From that i can understand he beats me off the line,
but he is also faster than me on the top end.

any clutching advise ???

do this search sxr 600 clutching etc. and set it up tons of posts on that
sled/ motor, you want 84-8500 on top.

a simple rivit helix change and she'll rip,lots of good tips here.
