sillverstars work ok, but burn out very quickly.
The PIAA's are much better, but more $$ as well.

I just started using silverstars too-- wicked bright, and very white light. Big difference

How much more power do the silver stars draw than stock bulbs? Should this be a concern for the stator durability? Would like to get some brighter lights but have been warned of the stator durability due to more power draw from the brighter lights and with all of the recent stator issues with vipers on here I don't want to tax it too much. -Ed
use silverstar ultra . better life . same watts as stock . i just got in 4 bulbs for 44 bucks shipped off ebay . locally there 50 per pair

As long as it draws the same watts as stock you are good for durability...I have been running them for two years and have had no problems!!!!!!!

I've been running the silver stars and they are great. No problems at all, i've had them for 5 years if not longer.

I have H4 bulbs with a 3000K light output ( color ) These are yellow in color. They penetrate way into the night and light the snow up awesome. Its kinda like having Fog lights ! I compare it to having yellow lenses in your goggles ! The 3000K are recommended for fog, snow and rainy conditions but there a little harder to find.
