anyone know were the cheapesy place to by a clutch for a 1996 yamaha vmax 600 i need primary also if anyone has one for sale let me know thanks

Look for a Polaris P-85 from a 600. Probably your cheapest bet and best for durability. You will need to machine out the hole in the Polaris bolt bushing. You can also turn original Yamaha bolt for perfect fit. Little to no tuning would be required if you get it from a XCR 600. I have one on my 94 Vmax 600. Engagement is just under 4,000 rpm and maxes at 8,000 then backs down to 7,850 or so. I am very happy with it.
