Look okay to me, looks like the carbs are set rich which is good for not burning a motor down. What does the belt look like, how does it look in the shieves? maybe your belt is worn?? T

The Belt I Havent Checked The Bog Im Trying To Describe Was Definatley In The Engine I Thought Maybe A Fouled Plug. I Also Thought The Plugs Had A Lot Of Carbon On Them. Im Not The Best Judge Of Plugs In The World. Im Going To Look At The Belt. Thanks

How are your secondary bushings, and spring?

How about power valves?

Watch your rpm's when the bog occurs.

Carb Heaters Off All The Time It Was Slightly Warmer The Last Day Maybe 10 F The Other Days Closer To 0 F. When Do You Want To Run Heaters?

I only run the carb heaters in extreme cold.

were the plugs new, prior to the start of your 350m trip? is so, they look oil rich to me. actually, they look more like they ran all last season or more. jetting looks safe, lots of oil in there. no fowl appearance, perhaps worn out or maybe a loose cap insulator?

exactly what i thought. you beat me to it. looks oil fouled....not fuel fouled. what is your oil pump cable free play set at and did you add extra oil to the gas tank?

My 2 cents : I agree, looks oil rich, check your cable that goes to oil pump, it has a split and a sleeve half way down. I have seen these separate and hang open. It holds your cable tighter thus making you pump more oil, you should notice your oil bottle using twice as much oil though.

Hey Guys Thanks For The Imput Your Correct I Did Not Change The Plugs As Of Last Season So They Probably Had 1500 On Them. I Did Check The Oil Cable Adjustment At The Start Of The Year And It Was To Spec. I Dont Have Exsessive Smoking Or Anything Out Of The Norm Im Running Amsoil Full Synthetic And Have Been For Two Years. Im In The North East And We Have Had The Ethonal Bull Shit For A Few Years And Reading Of All The Burn Downs I Would Rather Be Rich In Oil And Smoke Plugs Than Pistons...... Just Wanted To Make Sure Things Looked Ok I Dont Try To Squeak All The Hps Out Of The Sled By Running Anything Lean. When The Sled Started To Show Signs Of The Bog I Just Got Nervous About The Fuel Maybe Having Water In It Or Fouling The Plugs.

Just A Side Note Im Curious Does Any One Think Running 87 Verses 91 Or93 Octane Will Be Safer With The Ethonal In The Gas Now?

you're safer running premium over regular. the higher the octane, the cooler the burn, and the higher octane fuel has a better chance in fighting deto. run 93 premium...my .02.

IMHO X2!?

So Everyone Agrees A Little Rich But Definatly Safe Im Not Going To Make Any Changes Yet What Should I Expect Out Of A Set Of Plugs Do You Think? I Know Its Impossible To Put A Number But Any Guesses? Thanks
