Raise up rear of sled drop rear skid down pull C clip that holds the larg rear wheel on the bearing pull off wheel from bearing use gear puller to then pull
bearing then slide shaft out the other side, check bushings and shaft wile in
there.
other end you'll need to remove left side wheel then push shaft out some to get the other TR end bolts.

do you mean remove all six 14mm bolts to drop the skid? does track have to be loose?

no just the rear main pivoit so the rear drops down so you can get to it. yes loosen track all the way..

you may need to also drop the center idler too if the rear isn't good enough
for you.
i.e pull the center idler and rear maim piviot bolts then lower the rear.

My 2001 SXR700 doesn't have the circlips, just the "hat spacers" to hold the wheels on. Yes they are very tight to the shaft.

Guy's the C clip is on back of the wheel(holds the bearing in the wheel),yea real nice to get at,pull the C clip pull the wheel off the bearing then pull the bearing off the shaft then shaft will push out the other side,PITA with skid still in but can be done.

Exactly like he said... followed it to a T. Had to drop two axles from tunnel though to get enough clearance for me to get in there.
