Looking too use a good source of power for wiring up my heated visor without causing any problem's else wear.This is on a 2001 srx 700.
Blue tail light lead under the bar pad.
Blue is the color, the color being blue . . . not green, nor yellow . . . Red is right out . . .
Blue is the color used for regulated 12V power after the control relay.

If you want to have the plug in an unobtrusive spot then wire it up to the blue wire going to the tail light and ground it to the gas tank bolt,feed the cord up through the gap between the seat and gas tank.Then you can put the shield wire down through your coat and it will be out of the way rather than up by the handle bars getting caught by your hands every time you move.
