hauck and bender orange primary spring

is the hauck and the bender orange primary spring the same, what shim thickness came with them to get 5000rpm engagement

no they are different the bender orange came in there grass drag kit and i believe you have to use a 8mm shim to get 5000 engagement.

i believe the bender spring is short (meant for short cover) and the hauck spring is taller (meant for tall cover). i think the reason you need the 8mm shim w/the bender, is so it will work on your tall covered primary, cause it would just flop around in their then.
