Thanks guys for all this input. I think for now i will run the 89 and keep an eye on my oil consumption.
Hey Guys Just A 2 Cent Opion On The Startron I Own A Landscape Business In New England And I Use The Stuff In All My Gas Engines Its An Enzyme Formula That Is Supposed To Be Great For Fuel Life And Stability. Is It The Magic Pill I Dont Know But I Use It And Feel Like It Really Keeps My Less Frequently Run Equipment Seems To Start Easier And Run Better. Just My Two Cents... Bye The Way I Dont Get To Sled As Often As You Guys And I Have Been Running It In My Viper For 2 Years Espicailly While The Sled Sits In Between Trips.
As For The Octane Portion Of The Thread I Had 2 Mechanics At Seprate Dealers In Maine And New Hampshire Agree To Run 87 As Ding Said Its More Frequently Used And Less Prone To Sitting At The Station And End Up With Water From The Tanks.

Where I ride and fill up, there are lots of people, so I'm sure gas moves quick. I pretty much put in the highest octane available. Simple as that.
I was told by some TY members to run 87 when going to the Radar runs??! Odd I know!

Looked up the MSDS and Star-tron is primarily Naptha.
Better to get Sea-Foam... you get more Naptha for your money.
