i have a 2003 viper er and its time to rebuild the front shocks. my buddy gave me a set of brand new take off shocks from an rx1. i know the upper mount is opposite but is there any way to make it work? i would rather not buy new shocks, or pay to have them rebuilt and have to wait, when i could just use these ones. does anyone sell an adapter or anything? how is the top mount held to the shaft, is there any way to take them off and swap the viper mount onto the rx1 shock?
