I agree with horkn, but I don't know QUITE everything ;)

I think that last part applies to all of us....as much as we try.

Have you looked on arctic chat? Those guys would know better than us.

i had that sled..didnt have no problems with it but whos to say other sleds didnt.maybe i was lucky but i never heard of any oil pump problems until now.

thnx dunno i'm wrong its a 2002 efi zr 800 ...friend of mind was running like 20 mph and he burn a cylinder ...take off both cylinder and cannot find a trace of oil inside of case everything is clean from gaz ...no oil mix at the bottom of the case ..after taking out the cylinder we decide to taking out the other one and same situation piston start to scuff .... oil line was full but can't figure why everthing was so dry and not only in case ..we run the pump with a drills and everything work fine ...he suppose to check in the oil canister to make sure nothing block the hose inside...

I have a customer who has a ZR 800 2001. He had a oil pump problem for a while. Engine did not use any oil, I checked the line, seemed full, I ended up leaving the bleed screw out for about 45 seconds. I removed the oil line to fuel pump and manually pulled over engine, I then visually saw the oil was pumping. Reassembled all components and pump has worked ever since.
