Here's the problem, running down a lake around half throttle, no problem, when i pin it after a couple seconds the oil light starts blinking till i let off to half to three quarter throttle,it stops blinking, then if i pin it again a couple seconds later it blinks again... any Ideas???? I alwready checked for rub throughs and oil level is fine, and it is using oil. Coolant level is full!
Any help is appreciated

sounds like you are overheating,.. Did you have enough lubrication? (snow condition) opps careful, .. or lean condition..

Bad oil level sensor? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am under the impression that the oil light is strictly oil level. I have this currently happening on my 2000 SX700R.

Keep an eye on the oil consumption. 1 quart of oil used per 12 gallons of gas would have me feeling good.

my buddy puts in about a quart of oil every 800 miles on his 99 srx700 and it runs like a champ.. what gives?

At 10 miles per gallon, that is like 320:1 mix. I would be premixing like 30 oz of oil per tank in his sled!

yea his sled runs awesome... starts way easier then mine when sittin out over night... His is like 15-20 pulls guaranteed start... my sled uses like a quart per tank of gas... and mine starts like a Dog in the morning... could his be starting easier due to the oil pump setting?
