no they will not, upper mount is a different style.
I've got them on my 02 SRX. They bolt into the skid no problem, but as stated they have a different top eye on the ski shocks. The front shocks are also way to long to get a proper ride hieght. I frabricated a new top mount bracket[then I found out Hauck sells them!],and then had to widen out the front end to get a proper ride height. If I was doing it again I would only use the rear suspension shocks...I am not really gaining any benifits from the front shocks over the stock ones. My 2 99 SX's are a different story, they have the proper top mount already built into the bulkhead...works perfect!

so what would you guys recommend. just try adding VIper rear shocks or pioneer rebuilt srx shocks? leave the front alone for now... ?

I would make a call to pioneer and see what it is going to cost.....from them info I have gotten over the years on here you are going to be looking close to the same price as buying viper shocks...and they will be long traveled and valved to your riding weight and style!!! I would leave my front the same and flip my shock mounts!!! If you have money to spent I would look for a used m-10!!! But you are looking at 500-1000 dollars. There are other options though....edge suspensions out of a polaris sc-III out of doo's. But the viper rears are going to be your cheapest option. The problem is that they are valved differently depending on model and year!!! It all depends on what will make you happy. Personally I am saving for the m-10!!! Oh you might be able to buy a sled with what you are looking for and swap skids!!!! Sorry about the tangent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

interesting.. these brackets by Hauck i dont see them on there site. so all Viper shocks are not the same?
I have a friend who had Poineer 'Long Travel" his 1998 SRX's shocks and they have been trouble free for years...he has the Ohlins on the front so he left them alone. I would not hesitate getting pioneer to convert your shocks as thats what his business is all about. I believe you have to call Hauck about the front shock brackets...they also have brackets that can adjust your stock front shocks height[at least they used to]The 2002 Viper shocks were very stiff...they changed them for 2003 + up.
