Can anyone tell me....can i put an 1"1/4 track on an 03 viper...I heard something way back about the 04 and somme issues....?
The 03 can run a 1.25 easily if the track lugs come notched (or you notch them) where they would hit the front protectors. If you are going to stud the track you will have to keep your track tight. If you are not studding the 1.25 works fine.
The 04 came with a 1.25 ripsaw but without stud protectors. Most changed drivers to stud this setup.

the reason i ask...a friend has a ripsaw 1"1/4....it is studded...is a ripsaw track notched....??? and thx for the quick reply

No the Ripsaw is not notched....but very easy to do so by just cutting off the tips of the lugs over the windows.

I just replaced my orig track with the 1" hacksaw w/studs. OMG I wish I had done that a couple yrs ago!!!
