I have an 02 Viper that I seem to now have an electrical issue with my headlight, tail light and instrument cluster. They will be on, then off, then the headlight will be dim...No rhyme or reason... I pulled every plug I could find, cleaned with qd electrical cleaner, applied dielctric grease and put back together. Still happening.. I thought maybe it was a ground wire, but I cant seem to find that.. I can not find any frayed wires.. Everything seems to have been wrapped quite well at the mfg.. Any suggestions?
Just spent a couple more hours checking over the harness. I can not seem to find any area that is frayed. Dimming of lights and cluster seems to be unrelated to applying the brake, playing with the high beems, or turning the thumb and handwarmers up...As I sit in my garage with the sled running and turn my handlebars back and forth the lights will go on and off fairly regularly. ARGH!!!! If my problem were the stator vs. wiring could this be happening??

Check The Wire Harness Under The Engine For Rub Through. Do A Search, Common Problem With The Viper.
Under the engine is the most common spot, but check the area where it goes to the hood. I had one rub through here too.
