OK, I picked up a set of Viper rear shocks. I know I need to buy longer upper transfer rods, but the part # for the limiter straps is the same on the 01 SRX and the 01 SXR.

Are they the same, I read here that they are longer w/ long travel?
Don't want to order stuff I don't need, done plenty of that before.LOL

the 01 has the longer straps already but you need to put spacers in the transfer rods. or get a longer set off a 99. call pioneer performance for the spacers.

The Viper Rear Shocks Will Directly Bolt In . For The Front I Have Olhins And Put Drop Brackets From The Guy From Ebay, I Herd You Also Can Just Flip Your Origional Front Shok Mounts And Get An Extra Inch Of Height In The Front.

I flipped the front brackets and it's fine. I had to grind about a 1/4" off one corner to clear an obstruction, but it does give you almost an inch more.

An inch more ride height but the suspension travel is the same. A step in the right direction if the rear skid is long traveled but flipping the front brackets is not increasing the susp. travel.

i've had the rear viper shocks & SXR limiter straps on my 98 for 3 years. i find it took a lot of the smaller chatter bumps out. i also updated it with a newer SRX seat which has more padding. makes a big difference. all i did with my front ohlins is add the 3/4 extension to the end of the shaft. i left everything else stock and i've got a good 1.5-2" sit in and it handles just like it did before the swap. ;)!
