Search on here. A lot of fellows have put an SC10 II into a Viper. Personally, if you want to make it ride good, put in an M10. I didn't find the stock Viper skid all that bad - it had the update done, and didn't seem to ride any better or worse than the SC10 II I've had in a couple of ZX chassis Ski-doo's. I think an SC10 III or a Polaris Edge skid would be a better choice over an SC10 II, as you're considering, but nothing will give you the ride of an M10. As you'll notice from my signature, I have M10's in both my sleds.

The doo 2 is not as good as the 3 but share the same bolt pattern. If i had one for a good price i would not hesitate to put it in.

KirkRX1 - Are you asking if the Doo skid will used the same bolt pattern as the Pro-action in your Yammi ?
I cannot imagine it does....you'll likely have to determine the correct patern
Also - I had a 2002 MXZ with SC10-III skid and really didn't think it was much better than the the Proaction. Stiil stiff, and lots of kick-back on a bumpy trail with the skid set in the "soft" settings.
Note I was only 155 lbs then, but have grown out to 185 now.....

Non of the other skids bolt right in - SC10 ( any version ), Edge or M10. They all require some measuring and drilling. An M10 with the proper mount kit and template will at least provide you with the proper locations for drilling. It's probably the more expensive of the alternatives, but if you look hard enough and wait for the one with the proper mount kit and template you could probably pick one up for $500 or $600 ( I've seen them cheaper as well - I bought one for about $300 mint ) You could sell your old skid for a couple of hundred.kirkrx1 said:do these skids bolt right in or do you have to do any mods in get them to fit
