head question

i had a melt down on a 97 600 twin , is this head reusable or repairable ?

or am i better off finding a diffrent 600 twin to bolt in ?

piston looked like this

and it feels like i might have a crank bearing going bad also.

you can reuse head just clean up all sharp edges with emery cloth looks like bearing was problem

bad bearing........on the rod big end or wrist pin , so that would explain the plug that had the electrode smashed shut...... looks like a complete tear down is in store. thanks for the input , im sure i'll have alot more questions coming.
