Using AMSOIL 4 stroke 0w40, Does anyone know what I should expect for oil consumption?? Sled has 18,000km, uses about 450ml per 500km. Normal??

you might want to try this question on the 4stroke side.
the only time my 05 needs oil (other than tipping it over while running) is when it is due for a service.
how are you checking the oil? i hope you are not threading it in. as long as it appears in the crosshatch you should be fine.
