I was cleaning my powervalves yesterday and found that the #2 pv was no longer connected to the cable, there is a hole where the cable pulled through the end of the pv. Does anyone have a pv for a 700srx in good condition that they would sell?

you can have the top tiged shut and redrilled and cut ...to remake the valve ....or you can do the stainless steel bolt ....i am having 3 done tomorrow at the local shop ...

If you need power valves repaired: Ron Mastro in Channahon, IL does great work in a very timely fashion. (I had my valves back in 2 days) He is listed on this site as: Yamahasrx700

here is a picture of what my local shop is doing for me rite now as i type .....it is a stainless bolt ....but as you can see i also drilled and roll pinned the bolt so under heat conditions there is no way the bolt will unthread.....and this set i didnt tig the roll pin hole shut ,,,,but the set being done rite now i think i will have that done also .......20 dollars a valve and i buy the bolts and pins (2.50 cents).....

how much ....my local shop will cut a better deal if i bring more to be done all at once ....;)! also i recommend mopar ;)! .....great guy and shipping has always been fast ......feel free to contact either one of us if you need this done ....or if you have old valves you want to just sell i thought about keeping a set for exchange to make turn around time faster .....

Thanks for all the info. I am going to have Ron(yamahasrx700) fix them up for me. I do need to find a new cable for the #1 powervalve, I should be able to find one at the yammie dealer I think.

Something else I noticed while under the sled, the upper mount on the front track shock rubs on the track, can I fix this? I did notice the "W" bracket has a cracked weld too.

....the problem is that all the bushings in your skid need changed ....there will be alot of slop in the bushings were w arm mounts to the bracket on the rail ...and slop in the shock bushing ......the shock i update with bearings and seals instead of plastic bushings .....i have the part numbers you will need to do the shock and skid bushings .....i am doing a skid rite now and the bearings and all bushings are required to do this is costing me just under 70 dollars from the dealer (with my discount).....read betheviper write up on tighten up your skid ......

I need to find a new cable for the #1 power valve, anyone have one they are willing to sell? I do still need to get my power valves fixed, so if anyone has the time, please let me know.
