Quick question. Just bought 2000 SRX when I picked it up it was low on oil but could still see some in the bottom (oil light on). I took it up to the shop and had them go threw the sled. They tore down everything and cleaned out the carbs. Got it home and it was still low on oil W/ the oil light on. I immediatly filled the tank. I have ridden it a couple of miles around the house and the oil light flickers at idle but it is solid when rpms are up. Just wondering if it will take a couple more miles to shut off. Also it is jetted bigger w/ larger tubes.

Probably oil level senser going south(known for that)get a new one should

GO TO YOUR DEALER AND HAVE HIM CHECK THIS PART # 8CR-85720-01-00 HAD SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 2000 SRX. 3:16 (yammie tony)

Cool, sounds like a simple fix. What is that part number for? It seems to be getting oil just fine just a flickering light.

ITS THE REPLACEMENT SENSOR FOR YOUR TANK. IF THIS WAS 2000, YOU COULD GET THAT FIXED UNDER WARRANTIE, NOT NOW. 3:16 (yammie tony)
