viper shocks srx

I´ve read that it´s possible to put the viper bulkhead in a srx to get the right shock upper mounts. But will a vmax bulkhead work to? Bacause it doesn´t have the same partno.
 
i dont think vmax is the same my srx has brackets for the shocks and my buddies vmax doesnt the shocks bolt on different ,,,,,,,

I`m sorry I mean that I will use viper shocks, have viper shocks in skid and want to use viper shocks in front also. And I now of a vmax bulkhead for a good price.

I'm pretty sure it won't be an easy swap/belly pan ect]...I seem to remember that the bulkhead was changed when they brought out the SRX to accommodate the SRX engine, but I don't know what the issue was.[maybe the pipes] I have SX's as well but have never paid much attention to what the differences were. A few years back when they were using SRX engines in Mod Mountain Sled, the builders were actively seeking out SRX bulkheads to build the sleds, I have never seen or heard of a SX chassis with an SRX engine. Just my 2 cents

I understand that I have to cut big holes in the plastic but I´m lookin for the other way around

Thank you very much that was the info I wanted, so only the bulkhead from a viper will give me the viper/sxr/vmax upper shockmount and still fit the engine mounts.
