Welded cranks?

After pulling the crank on my 98 SRX700 I see that the clutch side pin is welded but the other two are not. Is this correct or are all the pins suppose to be welded. A dealer told me it was in the system as having the buletin completed 1/27/99.

all the 98 cranks i have seen were welded on all the lower rod pins and on the the main bearing sections as well.the 01 and up ones were welded only on all the lower rod pins from the factory. not sure about 99 or 2000 haven't seen any of those.
