Whats the best adjustment to make to help keep the skis planted under accelleration on my 02 Viper? Should I tighten up the limiter straps or adjust the transfer rods or stiffen up the rear spring?
This sled is doing wheelies now since the porting job, revalved shocks and tightening up the skid.

tighten the rods up , add ski pressure with your front shock coil settings and move your tra setting , !!! pulling the limiters up will raise the idlers off the ground and add a bunch of pressure to the front of the skid "yammys dont like that " IMO

I put on a hyfax saver kit. I wonder if that would make a diff. on the skid making less ski pressure. Adding more ski pressure with the ski spring won't work me thinks. If the skis are in the air the spring is not doing anything. Check the transfer rods. While sittting on the sled the gap ia 50/50. Fra is in the middle.
Will adding more pressure in the skid shocks make a diff? If so which shock should I adjust first?

I would try the limiter strap and FRA(stiffer position)first. As you pull up on the limiter, you can soften the front shocks preload to get the ski pressure you want for the conditions you ride. This will also lower your front end and will help with ski lift. A softer ski shock spring will help allow the swaybar to do its job.

front ski springs are set to no preload when the susp. has no load on it. As per Pioneer specs. Had all the shocks rebuilt by Pioneer and I put them in as per the spec sheet that came with them. This was a base line to start from and was also the same specs as before I sent them out . I measured all spring lengths and the limiter straps and put them in as I had before. So I really have not changed any spring rates. The only thing I can see that may change anyhting is the hyfax saver kit. This kit drops the front four and middle two wheels lower down.
So my thinking is to tighten the limiter straps and then should I reduce the spring load on the front skid shock?

Try adjusting the limiters first, then ride it and see. Then adjust the preload. Adjusting each in small increments and alternating back and forth between the two adjustments.
Its always best to make one adjustment and see how it affects the ride.
