Just wondering wat people are doing for bar risers on the srx? I tried a set from a buddy RMK but they are different.. And how high can I go with stock cables? Looks like a 4 inch will work no problem..

Any afftermarket, ask Richieri on this site he has good deals all the time.

I have a 2" on my 99 sx. I'm not sure with 4 inches you migght have to extend your cables, but I'm not very familiar with the srx.

One very important thing to check and think about, a lot of guys including myself, busted the steering rod while riding....They riser will make this happend, after that I reinforced and weld my rod....Just something to keep a close eye.....Not sure if the 01 had a steering rod issue either...

I machined my own riser block. I went 4 inches. To go 4 inches, I required longer cables. I opted to install gravity works ss throttle, oil, and brake lines. They are very nice. 4" rise is very nice, but works awesome if complimented with a seat riser via a homemade riser or seat work.

Stock cables = 2" riser (3" if you get creative with routing)

I don't know about the SRX, but I had a 3" on my SXr that fit easily, I just went to a 9" on my SXr, and was going to put the 3" on my wife's viper, but there isn't enough cable slack to do it, so I have a 3" riser with bolts that I'll sell you for $10 shipped.

2 inch is max with stock cables , i have a 15 degree pivot which is 2 inches and a 6 inch riser for 8 inch total rise got it all from a aftermarket company with all the right cables . which made my 2001 srx way funner two ride along with a 136 inch track

Thanks for the info.. I had the bars apart the other day and I think I can go with a 4 in by routing cables around pretty safe so I ordered a four inch, And if I run into problems I will just cut it down sum if needed..
