srx top speed

Hits...............well i hit a snow covered rock once!Made my trailing arm look like a bow without the arrow.Kicked it back in and rode on.Uh ran over 2 dogs in my life!One on a road and the other was in a driveway after i came out of a trail!Ran right over his back with picks in my track!Man did he ever take off poor bugger.






Speed wise 115 to 118 good runner.
 
Yes true story......if you can picture one of those dogs that go crazy every time you ride by him in his doman.You no they try to chew your leg off?Well i would try to go fast off the trail over the drive way and get away.This one time he was right in front of me when i droped down and ran right over his back.He took off like he just sat in a puddle of turpintime.lol
 
I once rode past this guys driveway,but really it is outside his property line.The guy just picked up his paper and walking back to his house..dog by his side.I wasn't even speeding or anything.Then the aZZ starts yelling at me and waving his hands all over the place.I said to myself..wtf is your problem and I continued on normally.I had a funny feeling that this guy was going to do something.I had about 5 miles to home.half way there this car pulls up on the road beside me and I guess he takes down my ID number off the sled.I could of taken off on down to the River anytime before that,but something in my mind was saying..no.Well next day after work I wanted to go for a ride back the same way,when all of a sudden I see a Cop Car coming down the Roadway,just seconds after leaving the yard.The cop flags me down.Now remember this is nearly 5 miles from where the so called hand waving dog walking azz was.So the cops came all the way down the country road just looking for a sled.And they found me,had my sled's ID number in hand.They told me this guy called in to them that I was chasing his dog with my sled.I told them outright that that nevered happened.Told him how it all went.He says "ok,just to let you know..this guy is a Lawyer ..so stay away from him." H'mmm.I thinks I will get about 10 guys on sleds and go run in his property that night .But decide not to. At least I didn't ride over the damn dog!! Moral of story..BE KIND TO ANIMALS..... :o| #$%&*
 
Never chased a dog.....deer once but stoped qwick because that is just wrong!Coyotes on the other hand....well.


I would of said i am a dogcatcher.
 
This is got to be one of the best hyjacked threads that I have read...... and I can see that dogs face now!!!!LOL
 
yeah and it ain't to pretty either.I was once running my 700 Maxim down the service road in the spring and my dog came running full tilt at me acrooss the lawn and up the ditch aiming for my front tire.Unfortunatly she ended up nailing my my exhaust pipes and smack in the head and under the engine and did a 360.She went running like bluewho described ealier.I almost lost control of the bike on the gravel.Stupid dog.
