Hey Guys...
Just curious..what does the viper weigh? Dry and wet?...
Also curious on other Yamaha sled weights...ie...SRX..SX...RX...
Apex and Nytro...
I haven't seen anything relating to this subject..But I recall Yamaha
saying that the Vector when it came out was slated as weighing the same
or close to the viper...

I am sure that with different engine sizes with the SRX and SXR the weights might vary a little.

those must be published yami weights. add 30 lbs at least.
I weighed my sleds with stock car scales[used 3 of them]
1997 VMax4...568lbs fuel tank empty - all other fluids full - completely stock
2002 SRX ...564lbs fuel tank empty - all other fluids full - with reverse installed 121"
1 1/4" ripsaw
I have stretched the SRX to 144" 1 1/4" and installed lots of light weight parts and now have it down to 543lbs fuel tank empty - other fluids full

yeah guys i'm not saying they are perfect or anything. I got them off the net.

Yeah..for some reason I'm thinking the VIper is a tad heavier than 490lbs aswell...
Seeing the weight of the RX-1 above..and remember the Vector was slated to replace the Viper with the same weight...I'd say 530 seems to be closer to what I was thinking...
Basically I came off and ole VmaxXT Pogo to my Viper and noticed a change...my next purchase I'm hoping to add a lil more power and lighter again...aka Nytro...I was just curious to know the numbers...

my bud's nytro rtx se feels like a tank compared to my viper. the nytro definitely weights more than a viper does.
