I just purchased a 98sx project sled and I am wondering how to take the tunnel from painted black to polished look. Not sure what I am going to do with this sled it has a broken crank its a 600 I have a good 600 motor but would like to turn it into something special. looking for ideas.

Just use a paint stripper to remove the paint off the tunnle then a alum polish and elbow grease/buffer to shine it up.

aircraft stripper GEL, not the spray on stuff. Works the best, WEAR gloves and a mask
neverdull by eagle1 is great polish used it on my rails- worked better than mothers and some other stuff i compared it to at walmart.
