sure, but if you plan to run the same dual bulbs, you'll need to also swap the cdi and wiring harness. You should be able to find out more info by searching the forum. It's pretty much more work than what it's worth.

The 2000+ stator youll want BUT its smaller than the 99 and requires tig'ing of the case to make it work. You will be much happier with a 2000+ setup. Those dual headlights will require it almost positive.
