viper seat options??

just wondering if anybody has tried to put an apex seat on a viper instead of buying a boss highrise seat? if so, how is it and would it be hard to install?

I have a viper seat on my sx. look at the avatar. The only minor difference is that there is no material on top of the tank. So you see the buttons.
