just installed ohlins on rear of venom

What do I adjust to get the tranfer rod gap centered when sitting on the sled? I only have gap at the bottom when sitting on it.

tighten up the rear spring. you must be a big guy because most of the time with olins people have to back them off (make softer).
 
Thanks, I weigh about 230 with gear on.Don't want to tighten the spring if possible it feels good 20mm preload, 3 inches sit in.
Fra is on the bottom maybe in the middle?

It rides pretty good but as per Betheviper`s great info and Ohlin`s the tranfer gap needs to be 50% top 50% bottom.

My other settings are Limiter at 1.2 inches.Front shock pre load 4 turns from loose.
 
The Bottom setting on the FRA is the 'hard' setting, top is 'soft'. You'll have to crank more preload into it to get the spacing you want. If your bushings are whacked out of it, you'll need to run a higher preload to get the spacing you want, so that may be the issue.

If adjustments are necessary, first try adjusting the FRA as needed to the hard or soft setting. If the FRA is not enough to get correct control-rod gap, adjust the rear, then the centre shock spring preload.

If spring preload is set to the maximum setting, and the suspension is still not within the control-rod specifications, then an optional spring is recommended.

update ohlins rear suspension set up

Good info on this site ya gotta love it...thanks.
I got = gap on the T rod's .
Center shock spring 0 pre load.
Turned up the pre load on the rear.
Spring is around 285mm
1.1 inches on the straps.
FRA on the bottom.
Now playng with the compression and rebound.
The Ohlins are worth the price I got em for.

Just still wondering about the spacers on the T rods I am running the stock spacers any suggestions about this?
