Viper trouble? foaming antifreeze

I was riding this weekend at crane lake with my 02 Viper and we tied up for the night at 2 am. The next morning I noticed a little spot of antifreeze down by my left foot. I decided to check the level in the plastic holding container. I saw that it was all foam and couldn't tell were the level was at????? I added a cup of antifreeze. I can't say I ever noticed this foam before and there isn't any leaks. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx.

The head gasket could possibly be leaking, pumping bubbles into the coolant.

I have seen leaky head gaskets (like mentioned above) or shaft seals cause this symptom. To diagnose I recommend an automotive radiator pressure test kit which you can usually get through a loner program at your favorite auto parts store. Or you can simply rig one up. You will know right away when the needle jumps around while the engine is running.

Definitely sucking air from somewhere to create bubbles and foam in the antifreeze.

Hey guys Thanks for the advise! I was thinking head gasket too, before I read any posts I removed the head and never even thought to pressure test it.... but any how eveything looks good on top of the jugs and on the gasket itself has no visable sign of an internal leak, but I did notice the cyl head appears to have been plained or shaved and the ridge between the deck of the head to the start of the dome was way diffrent on all the cylinders like 0.030 diffrence in depth from pt to mag side. could this head have been inpropperly shaved? maybe thats why it is not sealing. has anyone seen this before?
