Guys, iam just wondering how much can i get for a sxr 700 triple iam willing to part out my snowmobile because i have no money to fix it how much u think a motor is worth? stator, mag, sec. clutch, list goes on..... thanks

you have no money to fix your sled? what's wrong w/it?
no such thing as asking to much if your willing to take the best offer. However there is a such thing as paying to much so just be willing to negotiate.

is this the sled that both clutches blew up and took out the , side panel, belt guard , and hood damaged ?

too determine the value of the engine you should dial indicate the crank to make sure its still in phase . Serious blow ups like yours often result in out of phase engines . IMO

I agree! You must indicate the crank before pricing and advertising it for sale as a "good" engine. All it takes is one really solid bump somewhere in the grenade process to throw everything out of wack! My local salvage was charging $900 with exchange for a good 700 redhead earlier this winter! I've seen them go for as low as $400 at swap meets also, so it pretty much depends on what you have and how bad the guy looking for one wants it!
