Trouble codes?

It was a really faint light when I pulled it over then two bright flashes after it started. Testing it out around the yard at times it would act like a rev limiter kicked in. I wasn't going fast either. Thanks

try it again go start the sled and look for 3 flashes, yea the first one may
be a little dimmer then the last two. if it flashes 3 times upon start up then
no more it's just tellen ya systems "ok".

I also went over to tech and checked out the codes and noticed you submitted one for bleeding the cooling system. I replaced two cylinders and all three pistons and have been trying to get the air out through the bleed screw next to the switch for the heated carbs. I am not getting air or anything. The sled has warmed up enough to heat the manifolds underneath and the fill tank stays full but no coolant. Do I have to go through those steps if I am filling up after a top end tear down?

you may have to pull the knob right out after you remove the bleed bolt, for
some reason you can't always get coolant to come outa there w/o removing the knob, yes you need to bleed system after that repair.

the valve needs to be in the on position when bleeding.

pull the heated carb knob off? How does it come off? do I bleed it before I start it or does it need to be warm and under pressure? Too many questions?
I just don't want to overheat the motor and do it all over again. Friends are telling me to run it and it will work it's way through but if it is not in the manifold it is not flowing through the heads right?

with the bleed bolt out turn ,twist and pull the on/off knob out of the rail.

you bleed the system when cold not started.

yes sxr and srx is the same procedure but different fill ports,go by the wright up.

Ok, as soon as I started to pull the knob off coolant poured out nicely with no bubbles. I am guessing that is good and I just need to find snow and run it. Any thoughts on the earlier issue about the stuttering at slow speeds? In the five times I have rode it after the rebuild, (around the yard no more than 10 min each time), 3 times it would idle but upon acceleration it would stutter like a rev limiter kicked in. Not at initial take off but after about 2 laps, waited a second and then it ran great. If this thing sends trouble codes maybe I am not used to a computer controlled sled with a bunch of sensors! Stuff my 78 exciter, sno-jet, and 96 ultra don't have.

Oh yea, I picked it up from a friend burnt up so I never rode it before to know if it did it before. If the end of it's first life helps solve it he was doing 120 across Lake Orion before the meltdown.
