Well I was just putting the SXR700 away after doing some clutching adjustments and had her up on the track stand clearing the snow out when I sensed a shudder and then BANG...... The track blew.
It took out my 2x4 track stand and sent one piece 100 ft. (over the car thankfully) and into the bush!! Glad I wasn't standing behind it.
The track was studded but it didn't seem to let go at a stud???
The front heat exchanger looks like it had seen a stud before (gouge) but it didn't look like a fresh wound and so far no leaks that I can tell. I might find another exchanger in better shape and do a swap while I have it all apart. Anybody have one??
It was running so well and I had the clutching dialed right in.
Oh well, into the shop it goes.
