I want to put a m10 in my srx but am afraid that it will lose to much top end and be very tippy around the corners. Anyone who has done this please tell me how yours handles now. Any info would be appreciated

I have an M10 and I was also concerned about the same things. I bought the sled from a friend at the beginning of this season. I also have another Srx longtraveled. After riding the M10 this season, I am now planning on putting one in the other sled. IT IS WAAYYY! BETTER THAN LONGTRAVELING. I didnt notice any performance loss and as far as being tippy. I didnt think it was an issue..

Cheers!

No regrets. M-10 is main reason I still have my SX. Yes you lose a little top end but much of that can be regained with large rear wheel kit. These skids like a loose track, so run as loose as possible without ratcheting or derailing. Set your "sag/ride-in" to 4 to 5 inches. This levels the sled out and not as tippy as you think. IMO the ride is worth any of the speed and handling compromises. Another tip is to shave 1/8 - 1/4 inch off the rear coupler blocks. This gives you much better "transfer" during acceleration but unless your a really heavy guy you probably won't notice the slight difference in ride quality. ;)!

I want to drag more than trail ride and the M-10 holds me back. I love the M-10 on the trails but am probably buying an RX-1 or Apex for trail riding. I could keep the M-10 and slap it in one of those but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it. Like the post said," I MIGHT get rid of it." Not decided if I want to drop the $$$$ yet or not.
