x2 ... the oem reeds are excellent unless your engine is going to make 170+ h.p then aftermarket reeds might gain you a bit more.daman said:Is this for a stock sled? if so OEM are hard to beat, focus on clutching if your looking for little more. $.02

RUN YOUR STOCK REEDS, YOU MAY CONSIDER CHANGEING PEDALS TO CARBON FIBER BUT STOCK REEDS WORK. 3:16 (yammie tony)

the clutch guys are going to want to know what ur current setup is (primary spring, weight, secondary spring wrap helix) what your rpms are from stop to full speed, maybe your weight and what your intended use, for starters

X2...I am a big fan of the Carbon Fibre reeds in the stock cages, if the rest of the engine is basically stock.

yep, carbon tech petals (carbon fiber petals) work well for little $ on the stock cages. parts unlimited sells them as well as some of the site sponsors.

I agree with Yami god the stock reeds work real good and last forever but that said I run carbon tech now cant really say how much better they are seems a little crisper corner to corner may be all in my head, clutching is better time spent.
