extended travel set up

You will need both rear long travel shocks and new longer front tensioner straps(2) and a smaller nylon spacer(2) for the rear traction rods. Just order these same items for a 02 sxr to insure you get the right pieces. You might want to wait to order these when you have the suspension out as you will probably need some new suspension bushings in some/all of the bushing locations. Tech area has alot of info on this and removing the rear suspension.

Thanks, What about the front supension. I know the shocks are diffrent on the top.
Is there a mount we need to bolt them on or other parts we need .
 
Up in the front where the stock shock bolts in, take that bracket off. Order up some "eyelet bushings" for a Viper ( top of the shock ) Press in the eyelet bushing and it will bolt right in.Make sure you check the "toe-in" on the skis before you start anything.
You will want the same "toe-in" when you are done with the suspension.
