I used 15mm rollers and I geared down one tooth. You probably
wouldn't have to change gears but SLP recommended it on there
clutching page. I've used a 49/43 helix also but I didn't notice a huge
difference in acceleration from the 46/40. Mid range and top end seem
to be real good. I could stay even with my dad's stock 00 SRX 700
with this set up.

I have a 97 sx700. It engages at 4800 and shifts out to
8800-8900. The spring is a few years old now. The first year
I had the spring it engaged too high, so if I did it again I would
work with the Yamaha springs.

i have a set of slp's .this is my setup":8ca's/ w/ alum rivets in both holes. 51/43 helix /70* 14.5 rollers .;one layer headgasket removed .,reed spacers everything else is slp recommendations. Ive beaten 98 and 99 srx's modified and cluthed with this setup!!! Not to sure if the rollers helped....you might want to keep stock ones in. any questions ...e-mail me lynport@shianet.org
