Stator Problem..

Looking at some old post's here I get the same symtoms,hit the brake and lights go dim,put high bean on a tach resets.For a 04 Viper S shouldn't this be covered under warranty..?

Its 2009 now!!! I dont think yamaha offers a 5 year warranty!!! but yes you are right about the stater coil

Well if its such a common problem why not..??? 7K later and 5yrs later sounds the same to me..!!
