The guys a tool in my book. I was looking for 1 PV bolt and 1 rubber grommet, he told me he give them to me as a so call X-mas present. He told me he mailed them out and everything, needless to say I never got them. Wasted a weeks worth of my time getting those parts I needed. I being very cautious on who I deal with on this site as you can become a new member and just start listing parts right off the bat. And not build up any kind of reputation as being a good member/seller which I think is wrong. Alot of other forums Im on you have to have a certain amount of threads/posts to be even able to sell in the classifieds.
 
no please dont talk to me about it. You guys really need to take care of these deals on your own. I dont have the time to chase down these users.... I just ban them so they cant hurt anyone again.
 
well heres the deal i bought a set of ohlins shocks, a primary a trailing arm 2 cylinders and a set of radius rods, i got the ohlins primary and 2 jugs but the jugs turned out to be junk, i contacted him and he said he would send 2 replacement cylinders along with the rest of my parts, well they didnt show up and he said they got sent to washington and he got them back and was going to resend them and that was 2 and half weeks ago and i have recieved nothing and he wont respond to my emails or pm's
 
nothing I can do, other then ban him from the site. You have his address, call the police in his area....we dont request any phone numbers or anything to be a member... its up to all users to take care of their own transactions.

Can you not change the posting/selling rules for the classifieds? All Im seeing with these problems is new or little thread/post count members screwing other known members. All Ive seen Dogpoundracing post has been in the classifieds mainly, never really seen him help or try to help other members. People list parts as killer deals, people jump on it right away, then come to find out the selling member is a scumbag. I think the tough economic times has little something to due with whats been going on here latley. But there are ways to help prevent it. Make any sellers provide there Name, Address, Driver Id#, Phone# before being able to list, then leave it up to the buying member to contact the seller to make sure everything sounds legit. Every little bit helps to prevent this type of situation from happening. If you come back and tell me this in no way is practical, then I really know how full of it you are cause you have a ton of other rules to obey by here, a few more wont hurt any.

That is a lot of info to request, keep track of and manage for a free classifieds, is it not?? How bout only VIP members can buy and sell on the site. No matter how many rules there will be users that will take advantage of others and if I am going to get a ton of complaints we will just go back to tech only.
 
Please don't worry Mrsled. There are those of us out here that COMPLETELY understand what you do, and APPRECIATE it.

This is from someone who really doesn't support the site. These guys basically do this with their own money, except what little they get from site VIP membership and a few sponsors. With all the info and great conversations it's worth 15.00 a year. Personally I don't want to give out all that info on line. You guys do a heck of a job.
 
i have been in contact with both people regarding these issuses and yes i am making efforts to correct these problems yes times are hard and yes i have been having difficulites but i am taking all the steps to correct these issuses .i wont deny i havent been reachable and yes i have been laid off ,i will correct this asap
 
:jack: ok i think it's time this gets locked because i dont see any better coming out of it then what already has.even though i love the internet drama!!!
